Is there local co-op split-screen in Dead Island 2? Unfortunately, local co-op, also known as couch co-op, is not available for Dead Island 2. There will be no way for players to enjoy the game in split-screen, as the game is only one player per system much like the original.

Actual answer: Orcs Must Die 2 has online co-op through Steam. Orks Must Die 1 does not. Though you must find a partner yourself, there is no matchmaking, you should have no trouble finding people to play with on this forum, there are plenty of people still playing in 2019. There is no split-screen or any form of local coop in the game.
